Our Story
23rd September, 2018. My wife-to-be, visiting me at flight school in Spain, is in the left hand seat of the school's DA42 simulator. I'm to her right, coaching her down the approach for her first ever landing. On profile, on the centreline, at approach speed - ideal.
100ft. "Looking good", I say, " keep it coming down."
50ft. "Awesome. Keep descending, don't get ground shy."
30ft. "Get ready to flare."
20ft. "OK start to flare."
10ft. "Flare now."
5ft. "Flare!"
3ft. My (now only maybe) wife-to-be shouts: "What the **** is a flare?!"
Little did I know that six years later, this very word would become the inspiration for my flight training mentoring company, and this one interaction the basis for the business - to provide aspiring pilots with the relevant knowledge and skills before they need them...!

Justin Visser-Rogers
Founder and Mentor
A former civil engineer, I changed careers in 2017 to pursue my ambition of becoming a commercial pilot. After finishing flight school, I was successful in my first three airline assessments, finally accepting a role as First Officer for a major UK carrier. Now with a number of years, a few thousand hours and many landings on commercial airliners, I am proud to be dedicating my time to passing on the knowledge and experience that I have gained to future professional aviators.
The Future
As we grow, we will be bringing on more mentors so we can help more trainee pilots achieve their dreams. All our mentors will share the same ethos and ambition: to provide the best support, guidance and expertise to help you become a professional pilot of the future.
